Munising, MI is known for both the breathtaking scenery and the many adventures to be had, ranging from climbing the Ice Wall, paddling the endless blue waters, or seeking out the lighthouses along the lakeshore. There is no shortage of beauty and exploration from your Munising cabin rental.

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is perhaps one of the best parts of Munising; explore numerous, natural wonders, relax on the white sand beaches, explore the clear blue waters of South Bay by boat or kayak, or hike and snowshoe the trails. Only accessible by boat, enjoy the island by mountain bike, bus tour, snowmobile or on foot on any of the many trails. Camping is also permitted, so you can spend a night under a million stars. The island is a hub of history and culture as well as nature; deep hardwood forests, pristine shores and inland lakes are just a few things that you will get to explore when you venture from your private vacation rental in the UP.

While the natural beauty that surrounds Munising is captivating, make sure you take a day to explore the city, voted one of the best towns to visit in the U.S. Just south of Munising is the Wagner Falls scenic area so you are never far from nature’s splendor.
