Experience the lap-of-luxury in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan at the Moose Lodge! A log-xurious home on a private, inland lake. All ages will love fishing for Perch, Northern Pike, Bluegill, Catfish and Sunfish off the 50' dock. Free row boat and canoe gets you on the water.
The kitchen really shines with stainless steel appliances and gas range. Gather around the log dining table for a memorable dinner. Stand at the sliding glass doors and look out at sparkling Cranberry Lake. There’s lots of room at the Lodge - spacious sitting area with log couch and jumbo bean bag chairs - plenty of parking for large snowmobile trailers
Sleeping arrangement: master bedroom has a queen size log bed. The bunk room has a set of twin log bunks (best for kids or two singles). The third bedroom on the loft floor has a double size bed.
Unique Features
It just wouldn’t be cabin time without a stone wood burning fireplace - we made it the focal point of this Adventure Peninsula lodge which of course is Moose theme and filled with accents. For a truly unique winter adventure try (or watch) ice climbing! Miner’s Falls is a 40′ high column of ice by late December!
Attention large groups: If you need room for 16 guests, consider renting the Cranberry Lake Lodge next door. Need room for 24? You can also rent Lindberg’s Landing just down the road. Our Hiawatha’s vacation homes stretch up to Munising, MI - choose from Hiawatha National Forest vacation rentals and vacation homes on Munising Bay!
Things To Do
With Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore only 25 minutes from the lodge, you won’t be able to resist the small town charm or summer’s largest attraction: Pictured Rocks! Amazing weathered-sculpted cliffs rise up to 200’ from Lake Superior. Summer visitors will also want to explore 12 miles of beautiful beaches and 5 miles of massive sand dunes. Go sea kayaking on Lake Superior - ask us about ‘put-in points’ along the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
The Moose Lodge on Cranberry Lake is available for rent year round so you can see ice waterfalls and lighthouses under a blanket of fresh snow. Munising, MI average over 230” of the white stuff, so winter fun is endless -- 300 miles of snowmobile trails wind through pine forests, along lakes & streams in Alger County. Don’t hide from the cold & snow, embrace it at the annual Michigan Ice Fest.

Reviews
Our family had a great time at Moose Lodge. It is a very pretty lake with a wonderful dock that we used for coffee in the morning, fishing and boating during the day and stargazing at night. The cabin was comfortably appointed and we had all the amenities of home in a very natural and serene setting. Everyone loved the comfortable furniture and awesome log beams all through the house. Very private, only two houses on this whole lake and we didn’t see anyone else all three days we were there. Day tripped to Munising, Marquette, pictures rocks, and waterfalls. Jeff W
What an incredible place to stay! Absolutely beautiful quiet cabin on the lake with all the amenities you could ask for! The beautiful fireplace was used everyday and was enough to keep us warm and cozy. It was exactly what we visualized what a cabin should be like in the UP. Lisa was extremely accommodating and great to work with, right down to dry firewood stacked in the garage and ready for our use. Looking forward to next time. Randy and Beth Bauer
We most definitely enjoyed our stay UP there. I’m really glad I found you !! The wife and I will be coming up in the fall sometime, maybe not this fall, but we’ll be back. Moose Lodge was exactly what i was looking for. We didn’t want to travel 700 miles to ‘set up camp’ 20 ft from a neighbor!! You were right, the fishing was fun. The eagles seem to have fished out the larger ones. But that was ok. The higher water level may be due to beaver. We did see one swimming, and heard a tail smack, around sunset several times. Did see the old beaver lodge but didn’t take the canoe deep into the swamp to hunt for a new dam being built. Bugs got a bit thick in there. But that’s all to be expected. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. And that dining table – wow ! The abundance of wildlife, fantastic sunsets, incredible scenery, the forest. I could live there! Thanks for a great week and I hope we get back up there soon. Don Leopold
