Welcome to Cozy Home 1, a warm and inviting lakefront cabin offering private access from your doorstep to the waves of Saginaw Bay. With self check-in and comfortable furnishings, this space is designed to feel like an easy, stress-free home base.
Set in a natural, peaceful environment, Cozy Home 1 gives you front-row seats to wildlife, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and a long list of outdoor activities—watersports, fishing, hunting in season, bonfires, and more. We handle the details so you can relax and enjoy your time away.
You’ll feel far from the rush of everyday life as you breathe in Michigan’s Up North air and look out at the bay where Lake Huron meets the shoreline and surrounding habitat. After a day outside, gather by the campfire and watch the flames dance before heading indoors to unwind in the cozy living area and calming bedrooms.
The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, plus a deck with a barbecue grill—perfect for cooking with a view, sharing meals, and lingering over conversation. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature or watching the sky change colors over the water, Cozy Home 1 invites you to slow down and savor the moment.
In every season, this place offers a unique experience: peaceful paddles on the water, glimpses of fish and turtles, the chance to see a vibrant peacock wander by, or winter nights spent walking on the frozen lake under the moon. These are the kinds of memories your hosts cherish and hope you will too.
Situated on the shores of Lake Huron in a quiet rural neighborhood, Cozy Home 1 is only minutes from town yet away from the noise of busy roads. Arenac County Beach with its 900-foot sandy beach is less than a mile away. You’ll have free on-site parking, and the cabin is located about 12 miles from Standish and 21 miles from East Tawas.
Guests will have exclusive access to the space shown in the photos, including their own entrances, deck, parking area, and 75 feet of private beach.
