There’s everywhere else, and then there’s Up North. My brother Joe and I (Jim Meloche) started NorthernMichiganCabins.com after years of vacationing in Northern Michigan. We spent our childhood vacations skiing, golfing, fishing, swimming and exploring the lakes and rivers. Eight years ago, we bought our first vacation home in the area and started turning cabin time into a full-time lifestyle.
 
We love mountain biking, snowboarding and staring aimlessly at the pines — sometimes with a bourbon in-hand. We also love rehabilitating run-down properties into beautiful and unique vacation homes. The North holds some of our favorite memories, and now it can be home to some of yours.
