Outside you get a large overhead outside grilling area with deck, two additional decks, one wrap around, 2 docks, swim area, fire ring, 3 decks, gas grill. This is a fun cottage in a quiet cove that opens into the main part of the lake. Its sits on scenic, private lake shore on over three acres of wooded setting, privacy is assured. Spider Lake teems with bass, bluegill, perch, pike, and crappie contained within 29 miles of shoreline.

This cottage has plenty of room with 2500 square feet and large windows for amazing lake views. For your large group we have an outside grilling area with deck, plus two additional decks (one wrap around). The lakeside fire ring is a popular place to watch the sunset - see our wonderful Milky Way galaxy and the Northern Lights. You have 270 feet of private lakefront plus three acres of wooded setting. For groups 8 or less, we have two properties available to rent.
Traverse City is 15 minutes away. We have the snowmobile, cross country and ORV trails in both the front and back yards with direct access to the VASA trails.
Great for a fall season get away! We are EXTREMELY popular in the off season Sep to May so book early. The Songbird surroundings offer gorgeous changing fall colors. During warm summer months there is great swimming at the cottage and on many sandy islands. In fact, there are 29 miles of shoreline to explore. The lake is full recreational; meaning skiing, tubing, jet skiing is excellent. Spider Lake is teeming with bass, bluegill, perch, pike, and crappie. Fish fry shore lunches are always part of cabin time! Plenty of parking for our guests with boat trailers.
We recommend you hit the wine tours, microbrewery, Cherry Festival, numerous music festivals, Movie Festival. Ask us about Party Island and the secret fishing spots! Everyone flocks to the Traverse City region to get rest and relaxation. At the cottage is a ping pong table and Foosball table (bring foosball, ping pong balls and beach towels), basketball hoop.
Kayaks and pontoon boats are available at an inexpensive price.

Weekly rental from 15 June to last week of Aug. The shoulder season from 1 May to 15 Jun is 3 night minimum, and 1 Sep to 1 Nov it is a 3 night weekend.
Thank your for sharing your home. We enjoyed the boat and the wonderful views. We even saw a deer right by our cars. The hot tub was great for the cooler nights, as was the fire pit.
