This vacation home is the perfect place to make summer memories that you will cherish for years to come. Perfect for large families with children or for a family reunion, the lakeside home has a beautiful views of the lake in almost all directions, and it is the perfect place to go swimming, paddle boarding, or kayaking (kayaks and paddle board are provided, and there is also a pontoon for a separate rental fee) for a chill day during vacation.
In the home, visitors have wifi, linens provided, an in-unit washer and dryer, and various other amenities. The fully equipped kitchen means you don’t have to go out to eat during your vacation if you don’t want to. There are also games and movies to keep you entertained in the evenings.
The vacation home has seven bedrooms with 14 beds; 5 bedrooms are located on the second floor. 2 have queens, 1 has a full, and 2 have a twin over full bunk. The third floor has one private bedroom with a queen, and the rest of the upstairs is set up as a bunk room with 4 twins and a full bed. There are 2.5 bathrooms in the home, one of which is the primary suite bath. We are all ready for you here and hope you’ll come and see us soon!
Unique Features
The 8 person hot tub in this home is a great additional amenity that we have to help our guests feel welcome. It is available when the lake is too chilly, which makes this a great place to stay in the Fall, Winter, and Early Spring! Available October 1-April 30. The hot tub adds an additional element of luxury to this already perfect place to relax and wash away stress.
Things To Do
Visitors to South Haven, Michigan, who enjoy spending time in nature have come to the right place! Whether you want to check out some of the local farms and pick up produce from them, or spend time going on a leisurely hike, there are so many options here for you. The Kal-Haven Trail State Park is a great place for those of all fitness levels to get out and about. Though the trail itself is 33 miles, you can easily just hike part of it and enjoy seeing the woods and fields around the area.
There are also options for bikers and (on part of the trail) horseback riders to enjoy the trail, so no matter your preferred method of transportation for exercise, you should be able to use it in this space. There’s also Van Buren State Park, which offers watery views as well as camping opportunities.
If you get a little tired of all the green and exercise, you can head to Downtown South Haven for a cute and quirky afternoon. You can go to Decadent Dogs in order to bring back your furry friend an edible souvenir. Or, head to Black River Books to find something to take back with you to the vacation home and read. Finally, head to Three Blondes Brewing for drinks and good food!

Beautiful home from the moment you pull up. Loved everything about our stay. You will truly relax while you are here, whether it is relaxing on the screened in porch, sitting by the lake surrounded by acres of woods or boating on the lake that you will have all to yourself most days. It is so peaceful. The home is clean and nicely decorated with a beautiful kitchen and plenty of room and beds.

Our group of 14 had a BLAST at this place. There was actually room for several more people than we had. Lot of kids in our group ranged from 5-16, but there were so many lake "toys" for them to play with they were never bored. The kitchen is huge and easily accommodates us. I have no complaints.
