Enjoy the peaceful getaway you've been craving. Our home features 4-bedroom (7-beds) and 3.5 bathrooms. This cottage w/fireplace & hot tub sleeps up to 10. Located in rural Lee Township on W shore of Lower Scott Lake. Lake MI coast cities S Haven, Saugatuck & Holland are a short drive away. Chicago is 2.5 hours away & Detroit is 3 hours. Perfect lakefront escape for families, friends, or small retreat groups. Wi-Fi internet is provided by AT&T, but they only offer limited speeds best suited to web browsing & checking email. More than a few connected devices at a time will cause lag. We provide satellite TV & DVD players for all our homes since video streaming is not an option.

This spacious home features an open kitchen with a cozy breakfast nook for morning coffee and an island perfect for meal prep. The kitchen flows into a comfortable living area with a stunning lake view, an electric fireplace, and a 55” HD TV. Gather around the custom 20-person dining table to enjoy meals, games, or quality time with loved ones. This home offers four bedrooms: one queen, one king, a master suite with a jacuzzi tub, and a kids' room with bunk beds (full-sized futons on the bottom). You’ll also have 2.5 bathrooms.
Outside, unwind on the lakeside deck with a grill and large dining area, relax around the fire pit, soak in the 8-person hot tub, or enjoy the private beach, dock, and two kayaks.
Serenity Lake Vista is just one of our getaways here in Michigan! In spring, enjoy the vibrant blooms and greenery. Summer brings fun on the water—boating, swimming, and soaking up the sun. Fall allows for scenic walks through the nearby Allegan State Game Area or our own hiking paths in the area. And of course, winter offers skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and snow-filled fun.
We’re 10-15 minutes from Crane’s Orchards and Dutch Farms - amazing pies and fruit picking. Fenn Valley Winery offers tastings and tours. Antique lovers, the area has a treasure trove of stores in South Haven, Allegan, Douglas, and Saugatuck. Summer brings dune rides, South Haven & Saugatuck's beautiful beaches, biking trails, and fruit galore: cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and peaches.

To explore all the amazing spots in Southwest Michigan, you’ll definitely need a car! We are conveniently located to coastal towns—just 15 minutes from downtown South Haven, 20 minutes from Saugatuck, and 25 minutes from Holland.
Please note: We currently don’t offer electric vehicle (EV) charging on-site. Attempting to charge an EV here damages our electrical system, any violations will incur a $400.00 fee plus any repair costs. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!

WONDERFUL We had a great family vacation in this AirBnB. Was a great place for the toddlers, teenagers, and adults. The lake was lovey, and had a slow incline so it was easy for the kids to play in without getting deep. Kayaking around the lake was beautiful. We had a few questions before and during the stay and the Host reply quickly and supportively. They were very helpful. The house was a great space. We loved the among of bathrooms! Really helps out with that many people. The patio overlooking the lake was toddler proof, which was amazing. Overall a great place to have a family vacation. - Theresa

By a stroke of luck, we discovered our first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township nearly 15 years ago. We began renting the cottage there out of a desire to share our wonderful experiences there with others. We now offer 9 additional rental properties, and we love offering a simple countryside alternative to busy city life.
