Lucky Duck Cottage is a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom ranch-style cottage in the Scott Lakes area of Lee Township in rural Allegan County, Michigan. This cottage is situated just across the street from Upper Scott Lake. It features private access to Upper Scott Lake and our private dock with a canoe, a deck with a fire table and lounge seating, plus an all-season 6-person hot tub. The cottage is fully furnished and equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen, dining area, great room with comfortable seating, and two large-screened satellite-connected HDTV sets.
Amenities: In addition to the private lake access with dock and canoe, Lucky Duck Cottage also features a deck with a fire table and lounge seating, a dining area, a full kitchen, and a great room area with two large sofas and two large-screen HDTV sets. The cottage also has an all-season 6-person hot tub, plus a washer and dryer.
Sleeping Arrangements: Three bedrooms with three beds. All bedrooms have queen beds.

Guest Policies: Guests will have full access to the cottage, including the decks, yard, driveway/parking area, private lake access, and private dock with canoe. Please respect our neighbors and only use our yard, lake access, dock, driveway, and parking areas. No RV parking/camping is allowed.
Free use of our canoe is included with the home. Kayak rental by the day or week is also available, for a small fee. You may contact us for more details.
Local boat rental options may be available. The public boat launch is located just down the street from the cottage.

After a day of activities, relax at the lake and soak up the sun while you spend time in the water or paddle around in our canoe. Or, head to one of the nearby orchards to pick some fruit. Enjoy a bonfire in the backyard with friends after shopping and sightseeing. Unwind in our all-season hot tub with your sweetheart while you plan your adventures for the next day.
Spring in the Scott Lakes area is a time of renewal - flowers start to bloom, trees bud and birds sing. This is a great time for walking, hiking, or sitting in our backyard and enjoying the fresh air. Visit one of the area's many farmers markets and pick up some fresh produce to bring the taste of spring indoors.
Summer in the Scott Lakes area is a time for fun in the sun. With two pristine lakes to enjoy, you'll be able to enjoy plenty of swimming, boating, and fishing. You can also take a leisurely paddle in your kayak or canoe.
Fall in the Scott Lakes area is a time of stunning beauty. The leaves change color, creating a kaleidoscope of reds, oranges, and yellows. This is a great time to hike, ride your bike, or drive and enjoy the scenery. Are you looking for great indoor Fall activities? Visit one of the area's many wineries or breweries. Or, tour a local cider mill and sample some of their delicious products.
Winter in the Scott Lakes area is a time for snow sports. You can ski, snowboard, or snowshoe at one of the area's many ski resorts. You can build a snowman, or have a snowball fight with your friends. Try visiting one of the area's many museums or art galleries for great indoor entertainment options.

By a stroke of luck, the owners discovered their first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township over 18 years ago. They began renting out the cottage because they sought to share the wonderful experiences their family has enjoyed through the years. We have added 14 more properties over the past 13 years, and we truly enjoy offering our guests a simple countryside alternative to busy city life.
