Welcome to luxury and 6 acres of privacy along 1400’ of the rustic Manistique River. The Seney Lodge log home is in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Enjoy the Manistique Lakes (6 lakes, 20,000 acres or waterpark) and many year-round events.
The lodge is 1500 sq. ft and is furnished with lots of north woods charm. open floor plan with formal dining area. Views from the windows and large, 400 sq ft., walk-out deck provide amazing views of the river.
Sleeping arrangement: Bedroom main floor: Queen log bed, log dresser. Bedroom loft: King log bed, log dresser. Additional loft: Full bed. Sleeper couches as needed.
Our unique park like setting is near the southern entrance to the Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Grab your canoe, kayak, hiking boots or bikes - the refuge rolls out 86,000 acres of diverse wildlife habitat and has a visitors center & nearby outfitters to help plan your back country adventure. Watch for ducks, beaver, otter, moose, deer, black bear, timber wolves and bald eagles.
Inside the lodge are plenty of surprises. A large gourmet kitchen. The living room is centered around a one-of-a-kind log and stone fireplace.
The Seney Wilderness Lodge is affiliated with Sunset Pines Resort, a traditional family resort on 4,000 acre S. Manistique Lake (15 min. from the lodge). Your reservation HERE includes a 16' deep V boat & docking at the Sunset Pines Resort on S. Manistique Lake.
Cabin Time around here means 4 seasons of fun. Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, hunting, sightseeing and relaxation. Snowmobiling? Our lodge is located on a primary snowmobile trail which interconnects the entire Upper Peninsula. Fishing? In the Seney refuge, you can fish a 3 mile loop or from the fishing pier (northern pike, perch, brook trout). You can hunt too: Grouse, woodcock, snowshoe hare, white-tailed deer and black bear.
