Welcome to the excitement of Cabin #21 at Pine Bluff, perched 30 feet above the lake, offering a breathtaking view that's not just a backdrop—it's a spectacle. This cabin is your ticket to a laid-back yet thrilling lakeside experience. Imagine evenings by the private bonfire pit, gazing out at the serene Big Manistique Lake from the deck, furnished with a picnic table, grill, and two deck chairs.
Indoors, the vibe is cozy and vibrant, with a fireplace, ceiling fans, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The dining room boasts a second television, making mealtime a multi-sensory experience.
As for beds and seats, we've got you covered. The Master Bedroom boasts a king-size bed, while the 2nd Bedroom offers a queen and a full-size bed. The 3rd Bedroom? Two full-size beds for ultimate comfort. Plus, there's seating aplenty with two futon couches, a futon chair, six kitchen chairs, and four bar stools.
We're not just a spot on the map; we're at the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, just four miles north of Curtis and sixty-five miles northwest of the iconic Mackinac Bridge. And if you're an adventure seeker, Pine Bluff is your playground. From ATV and ORV trails to birdwatching, fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling, the options are as vast as the beauty that surrounds us.
So, if this sounds like your kind of escape, send us an inquiry. Let's make Cabin #21 at Pine Bluff the launchpad for your unforgettable Big Manistique Lake adventure—an experience that's every bit as exhilarating as it is serene.
Let's talk about the real gems—our two outdoor heated pools (available June-Labor Day) and an indoor pool with a hot tub, surrounded by courts for basketball and volleyball. Unleash your competitive spirit or opt for relaxation. The pool house is not just a place; it's an experience, with a game room, pool tables, dartboard, and satellite TV. Kayaks are ready for summer adventures, and life jackets are on the house. Need a boat? We've got pontoons, boats, and rental hoists available mid-May to September.
Fishing is a given, with muskies, pikes, and other fish that make my buddy's fish stories sound like nursery rhymes. We've got kayaks to toss around too, just pick up some life jackets and oars from the boat house, and you're set.
Now, when hunger kicks in, there's this spot called Big Lake Tavern nearby. It's not your fancy five-star place; it's more like a local haunt, where you can grab a great burger and shoot the breeze with the folks there. If you're in the mood for a drink, the Pine Bluff Bar is our go-to. It's not high-end mixology; it's more like a cold beer and good company kind of joint.
And towns? Curtis is about four miles south, and it's not a bustling metropolis, just a spot with a few local joints to grab a bite. McMillan is close too, a bit more laid-back. If you're looking for a change of scenery, head northwest about sixty-five miles to the Mackinac Bridge—it's not just a bridge; it's a whole adventure waiting to happen.
So, with your gang of eight, it's not just about Cabin #21; it's about embracing the simple, real stuff around here. From casting lines to local eats and remote bars, let's make this trip less about the itinerary and more about soaking in the UP vibes.
