On the north east side of Otsego Lake is the historic Oak Grove Lodge. Constructed at the turn of the century, our lodge is perfect for family reunions, friends get-away, and hosting other large group gatherings- Plenty of room for up to 16 guests. Enjoy 200 feet of sandy beach area and 3 acres of lake front property. The screened in boat house is perfect for picnics, potlucks and barbecues. While you relax on the beach, take in the view of Otsego Lake and the beautiful sunsets. The Lodge is situated in a lovely neighborhood which means good walking, blueberry picking or Morel Mushroom hunting in the surrounding woods area.
From the moment you step foot into the Historic Lodge, you will notice the rustic stone fireplace, authentic Rittenhouse furniture, knotty pine walls and ping pong table. The kitchen is vibrant, updated and spacious; Comes with a coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove and toaster.
The large sandy beach, screened boat house, fire pit, park-style grill and beach chairs make this the perfect lakeside retreat. Downtown Gaylord is only a few minutes north where you’ll find 15 championship golf courses, restaurants and shopping.

Besides Otsego County being the golf mecca of northern Michigan, it offers much to do for the outdoor enthusiast. There are five main rivers perfect for canoeing, kayaking and rafting: The Black, AuSable, Pigeon River, Manistee, and Sturgeon River-fastest river in MI lower peninsula are in close proximity. Don’t forget your hiking shoes or cross country skis! There are groomed trails and numerous nature preserves. The Pigeon River State Forest is 105,000 acres and filled will a variety of wildlife including elk. Horseback riding is always a blast! Check out the Liberty Valley Ranch or the Gaylord Equestrian Center for safe and guided trails.
