Inside and out, we offer clean, inviting, affordable lake lodging at off the water rates. Huge grass yard leads to the lakefront fire pit and beach area. There is also a volleyball court, basketball pad, horseshoes and corn toss games available
Refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, basic pots, pans, and dishes are included in each cottage.
Sleeping arrangement: Queen and a full sized bed in the bedrooms plus a full futon in the living room.
Cottage 7 is a little more spacious and has a full size bathroom with a bathtub/shower.
North Bay Landing is situated on Michigan’s Other Great Lake – Houghton Lake, in the North Bay. It is Michigan's largest inland lake covering 22,000 acres and filled with walleye, pike, bass and bluegill.
One of the most unique gift shops in the state is in Houghton Lake. The Rockin’ Chair Gift Shop has many designs on T-shirts and sweatshirts, moccasins, jewelry, and are famous for their fudge. See their big selection of Michigan books too. Look for other quaint villages, shops and antique wares as you wind your way through Roscommon County's gently rolling hills and valleys. Sightseeing is part of your adventure.
Ending each day at the lakeside fire pit is a special part of Cottage Time. Reconnect with family and friends and share some (not so truthful) fish-tales and browned-to-perfection marshmallows. Or meet new acquaintances as you throw another log on the fire.
There are nearby peaceful hiking trails amongst mature pine forest and lakes is right for you and your group. With so many hiking and biking trails, we will find a few options. One of our favorites is the Lost Twin Lakes Pathway because of its several bridges, including a covered bridge. Feel like putting some mud on? Venture out on hundreds of miles of the best ATV trails in the State of Michigan. Besides fishing, there is lots of land for hunting in the fall. Not that adventurous? Don’t miss out on the fall color tour in northern MI!

Mary and Brian Hanks purchased Marsee's Landing in 2016 renaming it North Bay Landing. Having resided in West MI for the past 20 years, we are enjoying the north and love to share our beautiful lake with you! We hope you make memories and return!
