This historic 4-season luxury log cabin is located just 50 feet from the breathtaking Au Sable River known for its wildlife, blue ribbon trout fishing, canoeing, tubing, kayaking, and overall beauty as one of America's famed National Scenic Rivers.
The atmosphere of Copper Fox Lodge is ideal for a romantic getaway, anniversary, birthday, honeymoon, or intimate family vacation. In the winter months experience the regions snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and downhill skiing.

PERFECT WINTER GETAWAY - The moment we walked in, Jeff and Beth had a magical atmosphere prepared for us. I had booked our stay here, as a surprise weekend getaway for my loving girlfriend and her amazing son, in order to enjoy the Michigan winter scenery. The tranquil water, of the beautiful Au Sable river flowing right outside the cabin, is a beautiful sight to wake up to while sharing coffee. This cabin will always have a special place in our hearts. As it played the perfect setting for me to ask my darling, if she would continue all of life's journeys together as a family. We cannot say enough to describe the incredible atmosphere Jeff and Beth have created for their guests. We are planning on staying again in the near future, hopefully for a longer duration. It is by far, the most relaxing, setting we have ever found. We can not thank Jeff and Beth enough for sharing their piece of paradise with everyone. Thank you.

We are a happily married Christian couple of 37+ years with two adult children and five grandchildren Jeff retired from a career in the mapping industry. Beth spent her early years in banking but is most credited for being available for our children as they grew up. Jeff is an avid fisherman (especially fly fishing for trout - and once fished 50 states in 50 consecutive days with our son); loves boating; woodworking; college basketball & football; and hiking. He even walked the 500 mile Camino de Santiago across Spain in 2014. Beth loves decorating, being a wonderful hostess, and staying connected with family and friends.
