ENCHANTING - This place is the best of the very best and will not disappoint. If you’re looking for an enchanting & re-connective getaway, whether romantically, with nature or both - so beautifully, thoughtfully and elegantly rolled into one - don’t hesitate. This is that place. It’s heaven on earth. The cabin itself is perfection inside & out. Comfy, cozy, very well appointed and frankly the decor was so subtly perfect I was a bit enamored. The land on which it sits is astounding. The trees alone, old & enormous - just their presence, is so peacefully grounding. The icing on the cake is the wall of windows view of the river, waterfall & varying wildlife passing through. You will be sitting in a real-life storybook. We will be back again, and thank you for sharing the work, the highly detailed care, and sheer overwhelming love you’ve poured into this place. It is a truly wonderful, magnificent & vibrant reflection. (Phil)
HEAVENLY, INSIDE AND OUT - Our jaws dropped when we first drove up--what a beautiful, inviting place. The photos with the listing can show only a few glimpses to whet your appetite, and the real thing is twice as nice as the photos. The owners have thought of everything to make a stay at Gold Fox Lodge as perfect as possible, and they have exquisite taste. TEN stars are not enough for this one. (Theresa)
DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE! We spent our 35th wedding anniversary at Gold Fox Lodge and it was ideal! The cabin is even better than the pictures, it was sparkling clean, and Jeff and Beth's attention to detail made our stay a soothing balm to both heart and soul. As for the location...Ahh! Sitting with our coffee and tea down by the river every morning and evening was a pure delight. We were secluded and enjoyed the sights and sounds of both the river and waterfall. We also enjoyed a campfire one evening and a round of challenging putt-putt in the woods - much better than Adventure Golf! (Christine)

We are a happily married Christian couple of 37+ years with two adult children and five grandchildren. Jeff retired from a career in the mapping industry. Beth spent her early years in banking but is most credited for being available for our children as they grew up. Jeff is an avid fisherman (especially fly fishing for trout - and once fished 50 states in 50 consecutive days with our son); loves boating; woodworking; college basketball & football; and hiking. He even walked the 500 mile Camino de Santiago across Spain in 2014. Beth loves decorating, being a wonderful hostess, and staying connected with family and friends.
