This large rental has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and sleeps 10 — perfect for multiple families or big groups. The three-story home boasts leveled decks, panoramic views of the Crooked River, and is tucked away in the “Devil’s Elbow” of the river with a lot so big that your kids will feel like you rented them a private park! This inland waterway connects to nearby Burt and Crooked Lake, Indian River, and Lake Huron where you can enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, tubing, and swimming.
There will never be a dull moment at Bear Cabin with endless activities for everyone to enjoy! Bear Cabin is located in the town of Brutus, and just minutes away from neighboring towns Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Restaurants, shopping, and wineries are in Brutus and the surrounding towns. For skiers, this is a great winter rental near the top Midwest skiing destinations of Boyne Highlands and Nub’s Nob.
The master has a king bed, private bathroom, and deck with views of the property and Crooked River. The second bedroom also has a king bed and private deck, and on the second floor there is another large bedroom with a queen bed. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds and a queen, and the bathroom on the second floor has a jetted tub and vanity. Each room has a unique personality that will please everyone in your family!
Bear Cabin is a beautiful property in a park-like setting. Full of outdoor toys and a fire pit, you will get the experience of the outdoors while staying at a resort-like lodge. The property has its own boat launch, where you can travel down the Crooked River to nearby Burt and Crooked Lake, Indian River, and Lake Huron where you can enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, tubing, and swimming and spend your summer days on the water.
Bear Cabin is located in Brutus, Michigan which is about four miles south of Pellston and on the west side of Burt Lake. Home to the famed Dam Site Inn, featuring hand-painted glasses and up to 200 hand-carved pumpkins in the fall, this is a dining experience you won’t want to miss! While in Brutus, you can also sample hand-pressed apple cider and freshly made apple donuts at Uncle Frank's Apple Town.
