Hi there! Welcome to AuSabo Wabo, our two-cabin property on 38 private acres on the North Branch of the Au Sable River in Grayling, Michigan. We can accommodate up to 28 guests, so it's perfect for families, groups, and events.
The main cabin has 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a deck overlooking the river. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. The other bedrooms all have queen beds or full size beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you need to cook and eat. The living room has a fireplace and a TV. The deck overlooks the river and has a grill and smoker. There is a fire pit stocked with wood for your evening enjoyment. Plenty of outdoor chairs and games!
The guest cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a deck overlooking the river. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower. The other bedrooms all have queen or full beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you need to cook and eat. The living room has a fireplace, a TV. The deck overlooks the river and has a grill.
Both properties are stocked with towels, linens, and other essentials.
The property is in a rural area, about 25 minutes from Gaylord and the same distance to Grayling (a cute tourist town) There are several grocery stores and department stores in Gaylord. We hope you'll come and stay with us at AuSabo Wabo! We're sure you'll have a wonderful time!

The Au Sable River is one of the best fly-fishing rivers in the state, so you can easily cast your line and catch a brown trout. You can also go canoeing or tubing down the river. There are also several hiking trails on the property, including a magical walk-through cedar tree as old as 300 years.

Mike and Jenn have been married for 32+ years and have two grown daughters and two grandsons. There current residence is in the Brighton/Milford area of the GM Proving grounds. Mike has been an executive of the automotive industry for 30 years while Jenn has been in operations management. Both area entrepreneurs at heart and believe in giving back to their community. Currently they are looking into foundations that support traumatized children recoveries. They enjoy the rural parts of the country and love to travel. They bought this property as a retirement home in Lovells, MI and are planning to expand the residence into a lodge and create a space in the future for those to camp and enjoy the many facets of this lovely property.
