The town of Allegan has some super exciting shops to check out, free live concerts on the waterfront every Friday night from 6-9 pm starting on the first week of June until the last Friday of August, zip line, and splash pad for the kids to enjoy.
Feel like relaxing a bit? Visit the Old Regent Theater for a movie, they just celebrated their 100th year! Free summer matinees run from June -august. Show times: Monday – Sunday 7pm $4.00 per person, Saturday 9:30pm feature, Saturday & Sunday : 2pm Matinee $3.00 per person Weekly specials: Mondays: 2 for 1 admission Tuesday: BYO bag or bucket for free popcorn. If you don’t bring a container all sizes are .25 on Tuesdays. This would be a perfect rainy day activity! If you're not a movie watching fan and looking for relaxing rainy day fun there are wineries and breweries within 45 minutes or less right nearby. We also have bowling at Snowdens sunset lanes!
If you're feeling adventurous check out the Allegan Event Center. If you are an animal lover then you for sure want to check out the John Ball Zoo which is about a 50 minute drive located in Grand Rapids, MI. With many museums and berry picking farms close by we assure you that your creative and adventurous side will be satisfied!
