Slice of Heaven is a modern waterfront vacation home on a sweeping private lawn with private beach frontage. This Lake Huron cottage sleeps 8 with three private bedrooms and two full baths.
Inside, Slice of Heaven features an open floor plan with filtered natural light. The main living area includes a fully furnished kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of counter space. The dining area has an oval table with six plush chairs.
The sitting room has a set of leather sofas and a reclining chair gathered around a large flat-screen TV, while another lounging nook features a large sectional sofa set near the brick-hearth fireplace.
A lower-level laundry room offers a washer and dryer for guest use, as well as a large basin sink (useful for cleaning fish) and a second full-sized refrigerator.
Sleeping arrangements: All three private bedrooms at Slice of Heaven are located on the main floor. Bedroom one has a queen-sized bed; bedroom two has a full-sized bed; and bedroom three has two twin-sized beds. There are also two full-sized futons in the living room and a set of bunk beds with a twin-sized mattress lofted over a full.
Slice of Heaven is a vacation rental cottage with many unique features, including a jetted tub in the main bath, a large paved parking area with room for up to four vehicles, a stunning manicured lawn that slopes gently to the water’s edge, and a private, sandy beach area with a nearby public-access boat launch — not to mention lake views from every room.
Tawas City is a northern vacationers haven nestled into a quiet bay along the pristine shoreline of Lake Huron. The downtown area is quaint and picturesque, with unique locally-owned dining experiences and gift shops. Visitors can enjoy the sun and surf during the warmer months, or fish the bountiful waters for trout, perch or walleye at any time of the year.
You can also fish or explore the AuSable River in kayaks and canoes, or hike, golf, ski, snowmobile or sail through the region’s stunning natural scenery. Tawas City also plays host to a number of annual festivals and events, including the weekly farmers market and the haunted Halloween tour at Tawas Point Lighthouse.
